BBK CALIPERS with OEM rotors

Has anyone taken on the task of retrofitting big brake calipers onto OEM Rotors of the x5 or another BMW? What was involved with the process. I love th look of the big brake calipers and would love to see a set on some OEM rotors for Asthetic beauty.

Finding a set of suitable calipers first off - I'd recommend AP Racing 6 Pots up front and 4 Pot Rears. Making sure they are radial mounted ones then makes the next stage alot easier - alumininum custom brackets.

I made an AP Racing 6 Pot Conversion for my 330d using Jaguar discs - one of my favourite mods to be honest.

Maybe get the calipers the manufacturers use in their X5 packages so they will be matched to the brake master cylinder?

Might give a funky feeling pedal otherwise
