Mystire...Added AUX works with phone but not with soundbot (bluetooth)

I added a AUX jack to my BMW X5 e53 2003, using a cable from Ebay.

it wont change to AUX mode, unless I connect to my phone with a aux cable.
the really weird thing is, it wont work with any bluetooth to aux device ( like soundbot or etekcity's unify) both of those used to work for me BMW E46 2003.


any idea why it works for Aux Cable to phone, but not Aux cable to SoundBot (or Unify Bluetooth) ?


P.s: I simply unplugged the car's own cable which had 2 wires and plugged the one I bought from Ebay.
