11+ Years!!
Have to go for a new battery tomorrow. Current EXIDE is starting to fail and I had to jump start this afternoon to take the X out for an errand. The battery was installed November, 2004 to replace the small and failing VW battery the dealer stuck in to sell us our CPO X5.
Given that that the VW battery was the second battery and we installed the third battery number 4 will be an Autozone Gold battery. Not too bad for a 15 year old BMW. I hope the Autozone battery lasts as long. We also got 11+ years out of my wife's Toyota factory battery and I installed the Autozone replacement but my back is not up to getting into the trunk to do the X.

Doing good, ole girl has just turned 80K. Looking around for a replacement but there is nothing under $5K that I would like and I sure don't like that sort of money.
