Chip is on a distinguished road
OEM tires stink?

Ok I live in Nj and it snows there. SO after reading a thread about tires and stuff, I remember on day... I had to go to a bunch of places, even though it was snowing like crazy. I didn't take my Dodge out so I took out my X5. Im like, hey itll work great. Well... I got to "experience: the stability control!!! I was going down a hill slow. I hit the brakes, the car starts to skid that little red light with the 4x4 blinks, so Im like oh man, my new cars gonna be toast!!. I brake harder and eventually it stops in the middle of the road.(The hill led down to a preally bust 2 lane road, luckily no one was out there!!). I was like, hey I thought this had good tires, why didnt it stop!! In another instance I was in like 2" of snow (I admit I was going fast). And I tried to brake at the stoplight. The car first started to skid and then stopped the next light over. I got pulled over for running a red, but he didnt give me a ticket cause he saw the skid marks :/ So my ? is which tires are good? 4.4i 05
