It's difficult to make out from the video exactly what's going on. They're not always perfect, but I think you need to see if there are any diagnostic codes as you could otherwise easily end up down the wrong route replacing the wrong parts. FWIW my money's still on the crankshaft position sensor, but it's not a "confident" guess because I really can't tell from the video and diagnostics would clearly help hugely, too, I expect.

I'll check the resistance of the sensor. I believe it should be ~500 ohms.

Ya you definitely have an issue. Kind of hard to diagnose with out any codes being read.

Why didn't you show the dash after the engine started? Too many SES, CEL, MLF lights on??? If you want people on this board to help solve your problems you need to provide as much info as you can. Using the steering wheel to block the dash tells me that you have something to hide.

Are those the ONLY error codes you get: misfire cyls. 3, 4, 5, 6 & 8? Unlikely to be 5 out of 8 coil packs failing at the same time, I'd say, but I suppose not impossible. Likewise spark plugs. If really no other fault codes I'd start with the cheap, easy stuff: crankshaft position sensor, mass airflow meter, spark plugs, coil packs -- in that order. Sadly without any other error codes it could be very difficult to crack.

Normal start. As I said before it's intermittent.

What is the beeping? -- that would drive me insane! Can you confirm there are absolutely no other engine fault codes apart from: misfire cyls. 3, 4, 5, 6 & 8? If so, very tricky, but I'd stick by my list above as being the first and obvious ports of call of items that are well known to fail and could cause this problem.

Beeping is open door key in ignition. No other codes. Jus checked cam PS and found 1080k ohms. I believe that is too high. Also it looks like there is a oil leak in that area.[/URL]
