Are the bearings making noise? If you have extremely high miles and its making some noise then change it. If its not noisy then leave it alone.

I can't get the video to play.

My '05 3.0L recently made a loud growling/grinding noise on deceleration. The issue was a bad bearing in the front diff. The noise was in the left side axle.

Hate it when someone make a link that links you to a different website. I didn't bother to click on the link because of all the scams going around on the internet.

Didn't notice any noise when driving. Just happened to have everything apart and said what the heck let me spin the bearings. 134k

Didn't think this site allows for direct upload of videos. If I am incorrect please let me know.

Already replacing the axle (part of this job). Stopped until I figure out whether to replace the bearings or not.

Doesn't sound like its making any real bearing noises. Your gloves make more noise.

Having changed my wheel bearings for a noise heard only at low speeds, I agree with others that there is no reason to change your bearings. BTW my noise was a tire. My noise was a woop woop woop at low speeds then blends together at high speeds so much so you didn't hear it past 35-40 mph. I figured it was beginning signs of a failing wheel bearing. Boy was I wrong.
