Smile Did the flaps today

I asked opinions about the mudflaps a few weeks ago, and decided to do them. I bought the rear set through Rob_ (thanks!!), and rangerfan gave me a set of fronts he hadn't even installed (huge thanks!!). I put them on this afternoon, in between completing the weekend "honey-do" list. It was dark when I got done, and I finally just ran out and took a few shots in the garage; so I hope they will look better when I get a chance to see them in the daylight. I also need to wax the car, so I will put some shiny stuff on the mudflaps, while I am at it.

What do you think?

Geez, I don't know Doc. They're certainly practical though. I need a pic of the whole vehicle, perhaps at a bit of an angle from the rear, to see how they look in an "entire car" shot... Looks like a professional install job though!

Hey Rob_, I had also purchased the "glue kit", but didn't use it. The instructions for the front flaps didn't call for it. The instructions for the rear did suggest the glue, but I didn't really see any need for it. First, why the difference? Secondly, do you think I need to add the glue to the screws for the install? The flaps look quite stable to me.

Doc, I may be wrong but I think there is less contact point on the rear requiring glue as a back up. If you feel it is stable, just make sure all of the fasteners are tight but I wouldnt use glue on the screws. The glue can get a bit messy.

Thanks, Rob. I didn't mean putting glue on the screws. I meant glue in addition to the screws.
