Machine shop in Spartanburg, SC??!!
I am having a hard time finding a machine shop around Spartanburg or Greenville, SC that deals with, or at least has dealt with, the Alusil motors... I'm not having much luck at all with this search!! Any one out there have any experience with a machine shop that can deal with the block for our vehicles?! I'm stuck!! Thanks!! Cheers all!! |

Try Acme Speed Shop in Greenville. Hap does mostly vintage British stuff for SCCA competition/vintage racing. If he can't handle it, he might be able to suggest someone who can. Hap did the headwork on my Triumph.

Very few shops want/can work on AluSil blocks. It is very hard.
Look for shops that work on Mercedes Benz, also. Many used AluSil. Good luck
