My 2005 4.4 needs tires. Any suggestions?

I have Conti contacts so I'm not going that route again. In my experience Michelins have better handling. So I'm looking to buy all season with some decent treadware. Any thoughts about Michelin products. EDIT..Non sport.

Sport or non sport?
Original Equipment Wheel Diameter: Front 19" / Rear 19"
Front: 255/50-19
Rear: 285/45-19

Non Sport
Original Equipment Wheel Diameter: 18"
255/55-18

On the Non Sport I would recommend LATITUDE TOUR HP. Have them on my 4.8is and love them. No noise, good in light snow/slush, great wear life.

On the staggered 19" Michelin does not appear to make them in that size.

Do you have the 19" staggered sport wheels? Or a square setup?

While I love Michelin and always buy their tires (or BFG for trucks, which is a Michelin company), they unfortunately don't make a 285/45/19 anymore. So if you have the 19" sport setup, Michelin isn't an option.

Nokian (a Finnish company) makes a summer tire which looks to be very much like an all-season for those of us in North America. They make these tires in the right size, though. Nokian is mostly known for their winter tires, which are the best on the market.

I have Michelin on mine and they are fine in snow as well as during winter rain and summer.

I just had to order new tires as the Hankooks that I had wore out with 20K something miles on them. I have the 19" staggered set and haven't had any luck finding all seasons for them. I ending up ordering a set of Falken Azenis FK453CC Summer tires from Discount Tire. They looked like a good tire and were pretty reasonably priced ($831 delivered). That gives me the Summer to figure out what to do about Winter tires. Might end up buying a set of Winter wheels/tires in 18" size.

I have the 18" set up and went with Conti LX 20. So far, so good - no complaints. Less than $800, installed, out the door.

Is it correct that you are looking for better handling in snow and on wet roads?
