I have all seasons on my 911 and Macan turbo form 50 to 40 wide tires.....they have come a long way.

I have used most all the tires listed including the Dualer....the Pirelli Verde is FAR better. Check them out on the web and tests. When I put them on my 02 4.4 the tire dealer never used them, he said he couldn't believe the difference. The truck will turn better, handle better, much quieter and smoother.

I don't mean to rant about them but they were much better than any other tire on the X5 that I've used.

I have two other vehicles that are on sticky tires if I need g-forces added to my diet. The X5 is a vehicle, not a sports car for me.

Rockit -- thanks for the Pirelli recommendation. I'll have to look into those once my duelers wear out. I'd like to run the 19" wheels instead of the 18" ones I'm running now... I like the looks of the sport package wheels better.

Seriously??? Not sure the analogy fits in this case. I don't plan on drag racing although I have been known to hit some curves with 100Mph gusto. During that time The X was shipped with Michelin MXV4's and they handled my driving excursions with no excuses.

Falkens are the cheapest, heaviest and have a twoply tire wall instead of 3 , perelli are the lightest but cost twice as much.
