I feel like an idiot. Now that you mention it, I did see a code for seat heater open circuit but I assumed it was an error since both seat heaters worked.

Jeez, glad I saw this. I also have seen errors, but both seat heaters work correctly. Well, the drivers can take 15 minutes, but I didn't realize it could be a dangerous problem.

I'm praying mine doesn't go out - seems like a real hassle to fix - I mean I guess the only way is to take the seats out and have a seat refurbishing shop fix them up?

Shoot if mine ever went I'd see if they could redo my seats to look like the BMW Sport seats or just get the leather redyed while it was at a shop getting the heaters fixed.
