how to remove microfilter housing on bmw x5 3.0i

Can someone show me how to remove microfilter housing on 3.0i

Turn the 3 twist pins, pull up/out the plastic cover. Remove the filter, carefully remove any leaves/trash that was under it to avoid dropping it into the blower motor etc. Then you will see 4 T30 torx head screws (gold colored) against the firewall, loosed those (they come out about 1/2" but stay in the housing). Then the whole housing can pull up and out easily.

1) Remove front long rubber seal running entire engine perimeter
2) Remove rear long rubber seal at top back of engine below windshield
3) Remove 13mm nuts on each side of housing (2)
4) remove engine power cable
5) remove plastic holding tabs on housing, Remove cover
6) Remove 2 cups - lift out each side - (holds assembly in) locks assembly in
7) Remove entire assembly

You do not need to remove power cable.
