Found my coolant leak, need help deciding if I should keep going down
The coolant leak was a tear in the hose that comes off the accumulator and connects to the water valve. Its hose #11 if you're looking at the water valve on realoem.com Someone has already been this far into the motor based on different signs. The coolant crossover pipes have sealant around the edges. Should I proceed further and remake a new Valley Pan gasket with RTV Ultra Grey or leave it alone as it seems to be functioning fine and replace all the other stuff I had planned on replacing. Need to order everything ASAP so any help would be awesome!

Also, I have little to no oil in the top of my valve overs so is it necessary to replace those either?
Every write up I have seen on this shows a lot of oil in there and mine is damn near dry from the beginning, even pulled a few coils to check down in there. I bought the X from a dealer auction so do not know history.

I would leave both alone for now. Watch for coolant leak at back of engine and the smell of burnt oil telling you it is time to fix valley pan/valve cover gaskets.
