LED interior door handle lighting "discovered"...

Thus far I have found the LED lights in each door I've replaced the window regulator in. Taped to the window switch harness, but unused and functioning. Seems like BMW should just install them and save me the pain of discovering that only the passenger front door actually accepts the LED! Of course I want to dig them out of the rear passenger's and driver's as well.

I guess the next step is getting 3 new interior door handles with the little lens for the LED in it. I considered drilling the existing ones to accept the LED but thought I might check on the forum first.

Anyone retrofitted a non LED interior door handle to accept the unused LED down in the door?
