Short answer: yes, they should.
You didn't specify which style so I assume they are style 219 and style 220 as I see them on E9x M3. I also don't know what version of the E53 that you have.

Style 219

18x8.5 Front ET29
18x9.5 Rear ET23

Style 220

19x8.5 Front ET29
19x8.5 Rear ET23

Front wheel on E53 with 8.5" width has ET48. The M3 wheel will stick out 20mm more than the OE wheel. Should not be that bad as some put square set on the E53 which means ET30 in front.
Rear should fit fine with ET23

Unless you get them for a steal, I don't think they fit the E53 character.

The specs for the 220 19" wheels are here:
BMW wheel style 220 | BmwStyleWheels.com

I can't say from my quick look whether these will fit, with appropriate spacers, though 19" by 8.5 or 9.5 should fit. I agree with the previous comment that this style, IMHO, doesn't suit an E53, but that's a taste question.

they'll fit, you're gonna want spacers though so they dont look sucked in.

You guys are WRONG when saying that he needs spacers for those to fit. If you read my post, they will STICK OUT more than OE wheels on the X5, NOT sunk-in. You need to understand how offset (ET) effect wheel fitment. Spacer will lower the offset which make the wheel stick out more.

YES THEY WILL FIT WITHOUT ANY SPACERS. THE FRONTS WILL STICK OUT 20mm MORE THAN YOUR OE WHEELS. REARS SHOULD BE FINE.

I didnt say he needs them, i understand how offset works. I said he'd want them. Zero offset gets you just about even with the fender. Wanna know how i know? And i didnt even need to use the caps lock.

There's at least half a dozen variations of E53 in the X5 line up (3.0i, 3.0d, 4.4i, 4.6is, 4.8is etc.) and there's LCI variant as well.

You get better (more accurate) advice by adding your exact model in your signature line.
