Why is my bluetooth volume low?

Hi there,

I have the stock business CD radio with the factory bluetooth kit that is paired with my iPhone 6 Plus. I've turned up the volume up on the business CD using the volume knob during a call but I still struggle to hear the voice of my caller on the other end.

Any idea how to fix this? I've had a quick look through the settings on my phone and I can't see anything. i've also looked through the settings on my MID and I can't see anything to turn up bluetooth volume.

Moreover, is there a way to clear the recently called 'quick dials' on the MID. Half the numbers on there are wrong!

Has anybody else had any issues like this?

Did you try adjusting the volume button on the side of your iPhone during these low volume calls...or check the volume (in SETTINGS) on your iPhone? I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 & if I have the volume turned down low on the phone itself...it affects the BT volume when connected to the X.

I've never owned an iPhone...so I'm not sure if its like a Samsung...it has multiple volume controls...for example...there are 4 volumes that can be controlled/manipulated at totally different levels. Try turning up media or system volume if Apple IOS is similar to Android as pictured below:
  • ring tones
  • media
  • notifications
  • system

Unfortunately i've turned the volume up to the top on the iPhone and the MID. This makes no difference

When you're in BT mode: press highest radio channel number on the mid. This works on aux connection but not sure if it does for BT...doesn't hurt to try
