Upper timing cover gasket replacement
"If you need to replace the right side cover, before removing the cover fasteners, the timing chain tensioner has to be removed." Will I need a special BMW tool or is it just literally unscrew it to disassemble and just screw it back on to re-assemble??? Thanks

No special tools except for the tight space. The tensioner is spring loaded (and hydraulic when the engine is running) and just slides into the hole in the cover.
