3.0 Stalling, no codes
I have a weird issue. Over the last week my X5 has stalled about 3 times. It happens about a minute after I start it up, usually I drive to the end of my street and stop for the stop sign and that's when it happens. I put the car in park, turn the key, and it fires back up and drives smoothly. I never throws any CEL codes. I have experienced a faulty crank position sensor stall (forgot to plug it back in when doing the PCV update) and this is a similar feeling, but the car runs fine before and after, and there are no codes. Any idea what it could be?

Could be many things. First place I'd start is with the intake plumbing. Check it all from the air snorkel, MAF connection, intake boot to TB, and especially the rubber elbow from the intake boot to the ICV.
Does it sputter and die, or just stall? AC on or off? How old is your fuel filter? Any chance of water in the tank?

I had this same issue on several BMW's now. First it was our 2002 325xi a few years back. Then it happened on my 2001 530i. I made a video about it, hope it helps!
