Trans shaft seal
I need to replace the selector shaft seal on my 2004 X5 3.0 with the A5S390R trans. The ETK diagram is really confusing as it shows a neutral safety switch on the selector shaft which I do not have. I ordered the 9500 seal but it is too small, probably for the ZF trans. What is the part number for the seal ? ETK says 24501423606 for a seal "kit" which is very expensive and nobody seams to stock. Very confusing.
