Opening passenger door without switches

I have got both driver and passenger side door cards off (as i am replacing the speakers) therefore i have the swicthes disconnected.

However with the switches disconnected, when i press the open button on the remote key fob, it just unlocks the rear doors.
I have to use the key, manually turning it in the drivers door to opem the drivers side door.
However the passenger remains locked.
I have tried to pull up the door pin, to see if that allows me to open the passengers door, but the door pin just springs back down.
There is no key hole on the passenger door, so i cant use the key either.

Is there a way to open the passenger door without putting the switches back in?
