Rattle when put into drive while idleing

Rattle when put into drive while idleing

Noticed since I've had the car a rattle. It's not evident or certainly not as prevelant when in park but it is when it's in drive at idle. A little revs and the noise disappears. It sounds from under the gear box /rear of the engine but never been able to put my finger on it (not braved being under the car while in drive). Any ideas? Gear box ? Chain tensioner?
