OE heated seat element, transfer to new seat upholstery?

So I am getting ready to have my front seat bottoms re-skinned.

The upholstery shop will be using hide cut to size when they strip my seats.

I have heated seats, and it seems the heating elements are built into the leather seat upholstery?

How are the elements incorporated into the OE seat skins? Will the elements be transferable to the new upholstery?
