'06 X5 E53 brake bleed
Ok, now that I've got my axles rebooted, going to install new rotors and pads.
This vehicle has DSC and I haven't found anything definitive regarding brake bleeding procedure. I will be using a power bleeder and I've got 1L of brake fluid. Can this be done in a straightforward fashion, or will I be running into problems with the DSC and ABS? It seems that if air is kept out of the system, a straightforward power bleed should work fine. Correct? I've read posts where folks introduced air into the system and it became a headache to fix. any words of advice would be appreciated. thx |
