Oil Evacuator

I've been hearing more about oil evacuators to perform an oil change, some of my friends use it and I know more of the dealers are using it including MB and Porsche. It's certainly easier but it is as good? Has anyone removed the oil with an evacuator then jacked the vehicle up and removed the drain plug to measure what's left and compare the stuff at the bottom with the stuff evacuated? If it's as good I may start doing this, it would encourage more frequent changes and be easier, and I'm looking at the pneumatic version- anyone have any experience with this one (uses your air compressor instead of a hand pump).
