"Facelift" Pre-facelift??

Ive seen a few posts referencing facelifts on the X5. What does that mean. Can someone post a before and after is I can understand, thanks

Part way thought the model life, the manufacturers often make a few changes to either improve the car or improve sales - usually both.

In late 2003, BMW started building facelift E53 models. New headlights and taillights, grills, bumpers, engine updates, new XDrive system and a few other things.

the grill's much better. i wonder if they make that in a matte black?

^$20 is still better than $80

Also, there have been reports of bad fit on some aftermarket grills. I would check the reviews before getting an aftermarket set.

Yup, same here. One can of dip has enough for other trim pieces too and emblems. I dipped mine and along with the other grey trim and rear emblems.
