adhesive for rear emblem

Installing new rear emblem, any double sided tape or is there a special kind? Factory looks to be a real sticky piece of rubber. Thanks

New rear emblem should have come with new 3M adhesive on back of it -

Home Depot has an "acceptable" 3m tape, Scotch/3M Extreme Mounting Tape.

The "professional" 3M product is the Automotive Acrylic PLUS Attachment Tape (Part # 051131 or 06395). This stuff costs, around $80 for the smallest retail packaging (10 yards of 7/8 width).

Good call.

The pro stuff has come down since I last purchased in '14, TCP Global has it for under $50.

They now sell 1/2 wide/5 yard rolls for $20 too.
