Door lock removal!

My driver door won't open from outside. I went to the dealer today. They estimated $350 to replace the door actuator and the next appointment is in two weeks. I went to the parts department and picked up an actuator for $94, went home took the door apart, took all the cable out, almost got it fixed and ran into a problem

I could not take the old actuator out because it is connected to the door lock via a cylinder. I figured if I can push the door lock out a little bit, then I can take the old actuator out and put the new one in. Does anybody know how to remove the door lock? I looked at the frozen door lock DIY article but I can't locate the allen screw that the author, bmwtech2003, mentioned. Thanks much in advance for the feedback, guys.

Justin.
