Bluetooth Voice Recognition - Single User?
2006 X5
Just got an x5 that my wife will use. I set up a few name in the phone book to dial by name. Tried to have her use it after I set it up. It will not call up the name / dial for her. If I speak the name, it will find name and dial. Is this the way this is supposed to work or do we have something else going on here? Thanks! |

In the scenario you've given us...both you and her are using the same Voice Commmand words?
If yes, then redo it and have her use her voice. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yes, we are using the same voice commands. I cleared the name and then had her save it via voice command. It now recognizes her but not me. Apparently, it only responds to the voice that saved the name. Very odd.
Probably wont keep the system long. Dynavin has released their carplay module. I think that we will just go that route. |
