Foggy

Lost both fog lights. Hard to imagine both bulbs failed simultaneously, but I guess there's no fuse. LCM control. What's the trick for getting the Assy out of the bumper ? Undid screws but it won't pull out?
Thanks
Happy new year

Happy New Year!

What year X do you have again?

I do know on the facelift they pull out with a bit of effort after undoing the screws. The lights have a plastic tab that mates to some part of the bumper.

I assume the pre-facelifts are the same, have not tried yet though.

Thanks, mines an 01. Mr Bentley makes it sound like they just slide out. My fat fingers make it hard to get a good grip on them. Thanks, I'll dial up my aggression levels. Just don't want to break something

Does the housing assy at least wiggle? Give it a good pull as you move side to side and it will come out; it does kinda wedge in place in addition to the two mounting screws.

I too have frequent fog light bulb failures regardless of brand and careful handling.

Thanks Kristophe
Yes it wiggles. I looked on RealOemfor a picture of the housing, now I know where the locking tab is. Any recommendations on bulbs?
Thanks. I use the darn things all the time.

The Sylvania standard H3 seems to give the most longevity for the price. You may consider a HID upgrade.
