Electrical anomalies ?

On my 2003 4.6 sometimes I get strange (self repairing) electrical glitches.
The other night, I drove the family to dinner. All fine, no issue.
Shut off the engine and ate dinner.
Started X5 up, got a message about self leveling malfunction.
Stopped, restarted car, all fine.

I had the kids sit in the car and it was running. Cold that evening.
Came out with a trifecta glowing dash.
Drove home, restarted, all clear.

No reason for glitches, I have a 6 month old interstate battery, 2 month old alternator.

The electrical system is stronger than Jack LaLane.
Most outings, never a glitch, last one had 2.

Anything to check out?

ABS module? It can be heat/cold sensitive as it ages and the solder begins to crack. Can't speak to the suspension error but it can definitely cause an intermittent trifecta.

Ignition switch? It can give some pretty weird symptoms. Try a search as I know somebody has listed them.

Sounds like battery or alternator issues. Voltage issues really, the X5 modules don't like varying voltages very much. Monitor the voltages... if they fluctuate it's going to need an alternator soon.
