N62 Engine Overhaul

So I just bought a whole bunch of stuff from FCP and ECS. I like FCP's lifetime warranty for parts and their price matching. I went OE for practically everything except the water pump, 90C T-stat, URO collapsible coolant pipe and valley pan (it has a Viton seal).

On the list of things to do are:
Valve Cover Gaskets
Water Pump
T-stat
Upper and Lower Timing Chain gaskets
Chain Guides
Valley pan gasket and pipe
Heater hoses
Motor mounts
Alternator bracket o-ring
Spark plug tubes

Anyone have a good recommendation for sealant / gasket to use for the alt gasket? I've read that people suggest applying something extra to the OE gasket.
