Rear Air Bag Suspension replacement: OEM or Aftermarket

I noticed the driver side rear all of sudden sagged after my car (01 X5 4.4i non-sport) was parked for an hour. I believe I need to change the air bag.

What do you guys think of these:
Torque Air Suspension Shock Spring for BMW E53 x5 2000 2006 Rear Left | eBay

These are half the price of OEM. I'm planning to just do one side since mileage on the car is pretty low.

Thanks

It's so much easier to work on the suspension if you have air springs.
Just get the Arrnots, they are great and claim to have a lifetime warranty.
Easy to replace,no special tools needed.

I vote Arnott in pairs. My front struts were replaced with Arnott 2.5 years ago and work awesome.

Highly recommend the Arnotts and replace in pairs. The rears are easy to change out. I have been running Arnotts on all 4 corners for 4 years.

+1 Fronts replaced.... Uhhh last year? Maybe before. No problems since.

I was going to proactively replace the rears at the same time, but I have been lucky. 6,000 miles coming up in July/August, so we'll see!

Ummm...yes Arnotts...but no one gave a link.

Also agree with most BMW owners experience with self leveling suspensions...replace in pairs (for what ever axle has a defective air spring).

To the OP...you should definitely look up the officialy 11 digit BMW part nbr based on how your X5 is optioned (single axle or dual axle SLS + sport or non-sport suspension). You can find this info by inputting the last 7 digits of your VIN into RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog or www.bmwfans.info and going to the rear axle (main group) and rear self leveling (sub group).

Only two that I know of are sport and non sport bags and I’m not sure if they’re different sizes but I do know they have different ride qualities.

Pull up your car on realoem.com and get the actual part number for your bags so you know you have the right parts
