Oooh, I like that. My rear wiper wipes about 1/3 of the rear window, never cleans the middle, drives me nuts. I assume this uses the new beam style blade?

Got it....yeah, that's the ~older~ model that uses the snap claw hook...
Newer one has superceded that PN.

I hardly even go the AutoZone or Peps....but I suppose for the 1st blade, I'm going to go local and see how the OE spec of 14" fits versus what I'm thinking which is 16".
16" looks to be be fine, even with the curve offset off the pivot area

Still waiting on the motor but for the wiki with the newer arm like I have, the correct rear blade is the A configuration. Picked up a 14" A blade - which nets to a 4" difference than the OE.

Cannot do 16", as smigen past the end of the blade towards the mount, the arm curves. The longer blade will work...just won't look good.

The E70 blade is 15"....compared to the stock OE of 18" on the E53
I suppose the curve of the arm does make up for 1"

Just a couple cliff notes...

Not sure if it looks better or not.
Due to the arm being curved, offset - it's a tad higher than where the normal OE wiper sits. So it's higher on than the glass than closer towards the hatch panel paint. Visually, I would prefer to have the ~parked wiper arm~ closer towards the paint. Blends better IMO.

The 14" blade actually get's just as high up to the brake like like the OE. The difference though is that it wiped area is more like a rainbow U versus a half moon pattern....if that makes sense

For the wiki, the volvo setup IMO does not clean as well as stock. Not sure if it's the slight difference in distance or spring tension...but it def does not wipe the glass clean in wet/rain weather. It's engaging the glass surface, just not getting it clean like one would expect out of a wiper...

Sorry to hear I have not had this problem with mine. On my vehicle it cleans and clears as effectively as the OE unit.

I noticed last night, when the cars got a bath. You could see the surface area of the wiper, and while the unwiped portion was filthy area with road/rain film and all, the wiper surface area was not bare clean glass.

I've got another new volvo blade. Just gotta wait till it rains to compare/contrast.
Not that noticable if one if just wiping clean glass
