what name brand.??

my fuel sending unit is acting up sticks at time when full it reads less then when it feels like it would work ok..it was replace place 1 1/2 year ago at this time don't i want to spend the $300.plus for original oem what would be second best as far as name brand
is karl a good brand to use.?? thanks
