Misfire 5&6 to Fuel Inj

2002 BMW X5 4.4 /w Sports Package
2015 The transfer case, new chain, cleaned the splines for the front drive shaft.
2015 New extended front drive shaft lahtered up with grease
2016 Tore the motor down to almost a long block. The chains, tensioners, guides, intake, CCV all soft parts and a lot of hard parts were replaced.
2016 Rebuilt the transmission
2016 Tore all front steering and suspension parts off and replaced with new.

Last night driving to a place from home. About a mile away the engine started missing, running rough and the MIL flashing fast. I had to start it every time I pulled up to a stop light but made it home.

I pulled the codes with my generic Actron reader and Icar BMW reader.
Actron 33 Misfire det cyl 5 and Icar P1351
Actron 36 Misfire det cyl 6 and Icar P1353
Went to start it and the engine would not turn over, quickly turned it off, some type of hydro lock.
I pulled the coils and plugs, 5 was drenched in gas with a black hard crysty layer. 6 was light black not light brown and had a hard layer. Looked in cyl 5 and there was quite a bit of gas. Stopped to let it and the garage air out.
A couple of hours later, 5 looked dry. Rotated engine by hand and blew/pushed some more gas out. Cranked the engine, gas hit the wall 4 feet away from cyl 5, cyl 6 stayed dry. Tomorrow...

Installed plugs and coils (swapped), cranked engine same thing would not turn. Pull plugs and cyl 5 spark plug was drenched again, Pulled cyl 7, dry and light brown. Cyl 6 dry. Tested for pressure on the rail and no reading. Cyl 5 needs a new injector in my mind because it's held open and pumps a lot of gas into the cylinder and also releases the pressure on the line.. did I miss anything?

Replace the injector in 5.

Here's a video on how a car engine got hydro lock and how to determine where you are losing fuel pressure.

I wouldn't be playing around with trying to start the engine until you replace the injector because all that gas is going into the converters and you don't want to replace a converter(s) because too much gas will ruin a converter.

Got the remanufactured fuel injectors (8) in the mail yesterday, 2% flow matched. Replaced the 2 questionable spark plugs. The others only have about 1K on them. A couple of hours later and the X5 is FMC. No codes anymore. Now I have 7 spare injectors.
