Heated seats/wheel inop Diagnosis and fix, Nav?
Hi Xr's, well you guys were really on the ball last time i asked a Q, that i wanted to check into something else with you...
Is there a tech article on checking all the electrical on the seat heaters? This is for my 2005 X5 4.4 sport. Wondering which relays, etc. should be looked at or swapped, and can i use a standard relay replacement for it? My steering wheel also comes on briefly and then kicks off within 3 seconds. I understand that is the green relay above the glove compartment fuse panel from doing a search in here. Also, I have the Nav screen and DSP radio, but I think i should be seeing a dvd player above the CD changer location in order to get the nav working? Or is it possible to have all that but no navigation option on my X5? I have clouds on my screen right now while i have a new screen on order, so my abilities to test are limited. -------------------------------- Finally getting nice weather here in North Vermont on the lake!
