How to zero out the OBC miles

I'm not going on a trip anytime soon.
I really want to see dashed lines on the countdown mileage.
There is no way to make mileage 0.
If I put a random number in there, then I get the ETA time.
I don't want any time to display, except the current time.
How does a person clear the mileage countdown function?

Are you asking about the DIST & ARR features on the MID (or NAV)?

Once you've used those features they kind of don't reset unless you pull power (car battery or harness to MID or NAV).

Not sure what you mean by show the current time...that would be the clock...which is a totally different feature that can be called up any time you want by pressing the clock face button on the MID or Nav.

If there is mileage countdown commencing, then the ETA updates
Accordingly to the time-speed-distance remaining.

Figured this out....

Once the preset distance decrements to zero, it goes into negative numbers and continues to decrement. Eventually it decrements all the way down to "-999" (miles or kilometers) and then it changes to "---" and stays there.

So it's not like you can reset it but if you wait 1000 miles (or a million meters!) it'll get back there by itself.

Well...that's one to add to the old mental Rolodex.
