Good day!!

Well, to help us help you out, we may need to know a few more things... What happened? Are you swapping an old TCU (in the E-box next to the DME) for a new one? Are you referring to the EGS that is connected to the valve body in the trans (common failure item in the post facelift vehicles)? Are you getting rid of the Automatic TCU in favor for a manual conversion (fun stuff!)?? You mentioned "removed from the car"... Was this to just check pins and you reinstalled it, but now have errors?

If you are just looking to pull and clear codes, INPA and some other programs run on a laptop can help you with that... If you are trying to "code" a new or replacement TCU, you will need more aggressive programs and connections... I am using ISTA-P and the older original ICOM for programming mine...

I know you included the year and engine, but it is a good idea to just list your vehicles in your signature... That way it's always there...

Cheers!!!

I mean tcu as the telephone system, not transmission. I need to code out the tcu because I physically removed it months ago and now it's giving me problems with dis44 when I try to resync my Key fob for remote function. I understand how to do vo, but the 04 4.4i does not work in the same way. I need to code it out.
