Smile Thanks! ,,and a few questions,,

First off, thanks for a wonderful new forum. I have been a reader of many sites before and followed some old familiar names over here to a place I knew as a resource for mods, now a place to hear great posts from friendly helpful people, thanks.

I have a much loved 07/01 4.4 sp. I really have never modded except modest, Tint, single rear 10' sub, PIAA's, SS pedals,Silvered bulbs, K&N, but am in the mood now. I winter my baby and she is coming back out in April sometime. I unwrap her, unhook the trickle charger from BMW and start her up often, roll her back and forth, when their's no snow. Yeh I know silly but I am keeping her for life. With only 67k kms I will outlive the extended wty. before every hitting 160k kms max.

I just bought drilled brembo disks, should I hand paint black or have calipers professionally powder coated?

Icelink 2 works with my non Nav non DSP stereo for my IPod, correct?

Anyone ever pull that Business CD and put something else in? Was thinking a 7 inch screen for aux to my portable pocket GPS,,,

Though looking at Remus, am I correct that there's no real HP gain and if so can a premade (Xpipe?) be simply added at local muffler shop for testosterone value I wish for? If so what is bext app product link?

To the moderators and contributors again thank you for an enjoyable nite of reading, made possible by your much appreciated efforts!!!

:welcome: Tim W had the Xpipe installed and the resonators removed. rgnbull, DroptopBM and others have done to their X5. Check this link. King and Joe Puma had done the nav retrofit. Check here. Requires lot of work and patience.

Unless you are planning to make it into a show car, personally I would just use high-temp black paint.

As Tom indicated, that's correct. See http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...icle&artid=115 for a similar install.

I've been told that there isn't enough room (DIN space) to allow for this type of install. If you find a unit that works, post details.
