engine oil flush
I'am trying to find out if i should use engine oil flush in my 4.4 before i swap the oil and filter, i have done 24,000 miles in it from new. mayby some one will know if BMW use a flush when they do a service and replace the oil. any information would be gratefull Regard sknube1

The Stlr is not doing any "flush", under Maint/Warr., though I have seen dlrs that sell it as a post-warr. "service" to pad your bill.
At 24K miles, I'd skip any flush, though I hope you have had an oil & filter change in those 24,000. GL,md

I generally recommend against engine flushes as they can do more harm than any good. If you have been following a reasonable oil change interval (at least once every 10k miles with the factory BMW 5w-30 oil) there should be no sludge or any other buildup. Even if you have only done one oil change so far (15k) you still shouldn't have any. Just change the oil every 7.5k or so and don't worry.
