Yokos vs. Diamaris - Sidewalls

I'm sure both are pretty stiff but anyone have any comparisons on them.

My wheels have been at my mechanics shop for quite some time now but they are finally mounted. Never a problem with just the tires but I added TPM (tire pressure sensors) onto the wheels and he was having quite a hoot getting the tire on safely without damaging the wheels and then getting it past the sensor........

I'm picking the wheels up tomorrow and I'd be curious to hear his story on how much of a b!$ch it was

Are you talking about Yoko Advan? I know Janix (jmh) went to Advan from Diamaris. He likes the Advan. Check his post .

I was curious on sidewall stiffness....kinda like on coupes, etc some low profile tires are REALLY stiff and takes a real good tech to mount.

Anyhow, just came back from picking up the wheels. The TPM are from Smarttire - I think they're the only major aftermarker company out there. I picked up the full function control display for it. It turns out that it ONLY DISPLAY THE pressure when the wheels are in motion. So I guess I gotta wait till I swap wheels tomorrow to see if they work.

There is/was another; Intellavalve. Biggest piece of junk you ever saw! Sold by PDK Wheels who are among the biggest bunch of rip-off artists out there! Hope your Smarttire work better than the Intellavalve.
