What a gem. Only a few of these made in estoril towards the end of 2004. Great find!

All you need are running boards to round it out and you're good to go.

Regarding the suspension issue, being that it's an 04 you may have the older module behind the glove box which was problematic. If so, it'll continue to go into inactive mode periodically. You'll need to update it to the new one to get the system working as it should.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye on the suspension system, if it does it again I'll change out that module. Any idea on what the older and newer part numbers are?

Nice! Looks amazing. My X5 e70 2008 was originally from California too lol. Truck is in mint condition. I’m from jersey as well. Got mines 2016 September with 42,725 on the clock.
