**FIXED** Secondary Air Injection Vacuum Control Container *Rubber* Mount

About 60 minutes into trying to get this rubber mount to wrap back around this canister and into the metal holder. Someone please save me from myself. I think i'm overthinking it.

Anyone out there have to replace the canister before? The only thing I can think of is the rubber mount has a circular slit that is used to pull it shut to fit it in? thoughts?

Hopefully this helps someone out there.

used a zip tie to get leverage against the rubber

Then gently pry'd it into place and cut the zip tie.

Nice trick.
Any reason you didn't put that side in first, and then push the other side in with something flat later (I haven't done this, but that sorta looks like the obvious way).

There was a little rubber slit (you can see in the image (bottom left). And I was going with the idea that that rubber slit was somehow related to the removal of the rubber mount. Probably not even remotely close but that's why I chose to pull that side.
