Bit off topic

Oh I will be doing something tonight. Its not bmw related other than driving to pick it up from the ups person. I get to put a cone of shame on the dog tonight. I picture much destruction in our house tonight....

Thing is the size of a satellite dish. She is going to go ballistic probably and knock everything over there is. But its either that or having our dog go bald. The flea shampoo we tried did not agree with her.

I may go for a drive and let the wife tackle this one.

Vet recommended it anyone used one of these before on their dog?

With 3 pugs, 2 have worn the cone of shame before. They get used to it pretty fast. Hang in there.

Ours has only needed it after being neutered, but he did get used to it pretty quickly. Good luck... Flea infestations are awful to handle. We had one about 6 months ago. Fortunately shampoo and flea/tick meds did the job for bimmer. (Yes, that's his name )

The fleas aren't really a problem its the reaction the dog had to the flea shampoo we used. She went to scratch and chewing on herself like mad. Half her fur is gone now. This is to try to curb the scratching and chewing till her skin heals up.

Our 3y/o kelpie has an allergy to some of our trees. Took us ages to find out exactly what was making his belly go bald.
No cone for him, he has issues (rescue dog) with anything going over his head. And getting cream on is a nightmare. I end up wearing it.
Try a known shampoo in a warm bath (not directly on skin)?

Trees are gone now tho!

Other dog wouldn't care. 9y/o lab x golden retriever.

Well other than the initial bumping into a few things she did great with it. No scratching or biting of her fur tonight so maybe this will work out ok.

I didn't even think about that. She does snore at times but hasn't so far tonight.

Should be interesting.

I stole that from a comedian. The concept of a megaphone and Elizabethan collar was rich.

Yep. Had to put it on our Beagle numerous times. They get used to it pretty quickly.
