Hi i am the proud owner of a e53 4.6is.
I was having probems with the alarm going off which a local auto electrician fixed but came back with the laguage on the dash in Italian. I have also had an after market head unit fitted due to multiple issues with the existing system which to be fair works great but came back with a yellow warning light on the dash one car behind the other no idea what this means as it is not in the book.
Anyone any ideas. I look forward to hearing from you many thanks.

Most of the false alarms are caused by the hood contact switch, you can just pull the elec. contact from it and the alarm system functions without it. Its located under the hood on the pass side close to the windshield.

E53 DASH WARNING LIGHTS

Guys thank you for your advise, yes that is the correct warning light. Active Cruise Control, i do not belive this is on my E53 so not sure why it is displaying but i will point my auto electrician in the right direction.
Do you know how to change the dash display from Italian back into English.
