Nice looking 4.8is for sale near Seattle

Every once in a while, I peek at the inventory of the used car dealership where I bought my ‘06 4.4i (which I’m beginning to miss terribly...why did I trade it in?). They have a very nice looking 4.8is listed with a Dinan badge on it. It also has an M steering wheel and what looks like an aftermarket hitch. I’ve not seen this in person but if someone wants me to go kick the tires for them, I’m happy to do so.

I’m not affiliated with this company so this isn’t my ad, nor do I get anything out of this. I know that a cherry 4.6 or 4.8 is the holy grail around here. So I thought I’d let you all know in case someone’s on the search.

2006 Used BMW X5 4.8is at Landmark Motors Inc Serving Seattle, Bellevue, WA, IID 17106904

Wow! My timing just keeps getting worse! I just left Seattle this past Thursday after having an Imola 4.6 sold out from under me in Portland the day before I flew in last week! I am very interested, but won’t be back in Seattle for 3 more weeks! I scoured options while I was there, but the only decent looking option (has to be red or blue) was the Estoril 4.6 in Lynnwood that is way overpriced and has paint peeling from roof the size of a dollar bill! Can you tell what the paint quality of this one is?

Clarification needed...

Also, is it possible to tell what is going on at the 3 areas pointed out by the arrows in this pic? Did a previous owner possibly plastidip the lower valence? Plus, I'm not seeing how the dinan badge was earned without front strut brace, CAI, exhaust, etc...too bad for that.

Just FYI, the Estroil is prone to peeling on the 4.6. For whatever reason there was an issue with that color and it will peel. It sucks cause it the best color IMHO. Mine has peeled on the inside of several places. None that are terribly bad but it sucks.

There is a nice Lemans/creme at Jackie Cooper BMW in OK with 74k miles on it. Wish I had the funds, I am itching to get back into an E53! DINAN badge, looks like DINAN exhaust, needs to be washed (not sure why they would listed it unwashed), additional pictures would be nice. Looked up the VIN, should have sliding trunk floor option, no tow hitch or running boards.

That's because it's a series of cheapo Autozone letters

Plus 1 on the Dinah badge. Maybe stage 1 ECU, maybe TB?

Those things on the front look like LED lights.

It looks clean tho. Even edited, looks like it was well taken care of and properly detailed before these pics were taken.
