P2096 and P2098 codes thrown

Hey Fellas,

New codes thrown on my 2002 3.0 X5

Both refer to downstream detection of a lean condition.

Both O2 sensors are less than 3 months old so I do not suspect them. Wondering if this may point to a exhaust leak or what do you think?

It did have another code for misfire the first time I checked the SES light but I reset it to see if it returned and that code has not come up again......yet.

Thoughts?

B
