Carpet replacement
E53 I picked up for $600. Been slowly putting it back together and fixing issues with help from you all. Previous owner rode the truck hard and the carpet is, solid, but heavily stained. I've looked everywhere and can not find replacement carpet. Is my only option to pull it, pressure wash and redye?

Wash it with a drill brush attachment and redye.
It will look like new. I've done it. Actual new carpet will probably cost more than you paid for the car

Wow, rgr that. That's what I figured, but wanted to cross-reference with the data base.

E53’s are increasingly in junkyards.
Maybe pull a better carpet from another car ? |

I think it'd be hard for the aftermarket carpet vendors to make a good replacement for the E53. The stock carpet has a very thick molded foam glued to the bottom of it for sound insulation. JY would be best bet, but most carpet will clean up well with some purple power and a pressure washer
