LED Reverse Light Bulb Recommendations

I know there are a few threads on this but the links to those are fairly old. With new technology every year I'd like to know what the best LED bulbs are now (2017-2018). I'd like the brightest possible. I don't care if they're error free or not because I've coded this out.

I have read some of the posts recommending Weisslicht Spektrum but it dates back to 2015 and at $99/set from Bimmian, I am not sure this is the best option in 2018.

So many options on fleaBay and varying wattage, some up as high as 100W.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

If you somehow want to pay for shipping I have a pair of reverse leds you can have. They came with my new led taillights but they threw errors and did the flickering dance of happiness. I jut used the OEM bulbs and have no issues.

They are Cree bulbs...not sure about them being the brightest though. 600 lumen 1156 Cree bulbs.

Pm me if interested and I’ll dig them out, assuming I didn’t toss them...which I may have.

Thank you Eurowhip for your generosity. At this point, I am just looking at all options to see what everyone is most satisfied with. I think we might see some more suggestions as the thread progresses. I have heard that the Cree LED is the technology of choice but I am fairly ignorant of the latest technology but I'm sure this thread will educate me. Thanks again for your offer, Merry Christmas.

subscribed!

I have a 2011 X5 35D SAV - when I put it in reverse i don't see any difference. I get my lighting from tapping the brake lights.

Thank you ajacks8. For $15, I ordered a set and will try them out and post the results. I like the side lighting like the Weisslicht Spektrum used.

Post up your results. I want to order a set but will most likely order from seller siriusLED on Amazon. I'm running a few of their other bulbs and they are awesome.

I looked there as your suggestion and didn't see any from Sirius LED. I know you had said you have their license plate bulbs and were happy.
