Coding database - Input wanted

I am making a coding database now and putting all the ones I use in it for quick reference on making coding changes to my X5.

If anyone wants to add to this I will gladly put their changes in. I have a ton of different databases and lists and I didn't want to just make a dump of them into the database.

I want it to be what I have actually done so I know it works and what others have actually done and know that it works on our X5's if that makes sense.

So any coding that you have done that you want to share with everyone I would love to add it to this list.

BMW X5 E53 Coding Options | Crowz Nest

Just a post with the functions name, description of what it does, module you found it in, what it is normally set to and what you changed it to. I have a notes field too if you want to put in a short comment on the options effect or what else has to be coded along with this function to work.

I'll add some but have to organize all the coding I have done to my X5. I just need some time...

Here is a 28 page thread that has some good mods with NCS Expert

Cool thanks !

I will go thru that thread and add some of it as I get a chance. I am reformatting the page now to make it wider for that table. So it looks better. Also will allow for adding more fields as needed.

I added a few more entries.

Its slow going since most just say change this or that but they don't note exactly what it does and what it was set to etc.

If its the one I found thru google its not quite the same thing as what I'm trying to put together.

I have a bunch of similar databases but I found a bunch of the settings didn't work when tried as is in them and they were hard to find what you were looking for easily.

The one I am making has life search which you enter a piece of what you want and it takes you to it.

Basically it will backup all the sections people have posted in and make for a quick reference.

On this one :

High beams on with bi-xenon (LCM)
PWM_FL_BIX - wert_01 (Changed)

I used :
PWM_WERT2_FL_BIXENON in the alsz module.

Mine is a 2005 with active headlights.

Put both in and do a note or something?

Can you explain this to me? I pulled my code from the LCM and had no line for PWM_FL_BIX but what module did pull to find that PWM_WERT2_FL_BIXENON line?
